The show circles around Jamie, a young boy who lives in the city, as he sets out to discover why there has been no snow at his house. As he travels to the imaginary arctic land of Wintuk, Jamie meets giant dogs, a shy man, a lost Shaman and a young girl known as Shadowgirl. After traveling to Wintuk and meeting the People of the North, they must find out if they can bring snow back with them when they return to the city.
